This is the additional exercise book of Basics of Financial Management.
Financial Management is the international edition of Basisboek Bedrijfseconomie. A perfect introductory textbook for first year students. Part 1 introduces students to the main economic concepts. The following parts offer a deeper insight in the fields of finance, finance management and accounting. Basics of Financial Management comes with a separate exercise and solution book. No prior knowledge of business economics is required.
On the additional website students will find excel exercises on various levels, web lectures, and multiple choice exams. For teachers we offer a manual, lecture sheets and an exam database called Toets-op-maat (www.toetsopmaat.nl).
The third edition is completely up to date. It contains new sources of finance, such as business angel, crowdfunding and credit unions. In the section about funding markets more attention is paid to derivates while the extended treatment of futures has been removed. Chapter 16 has been thoroughly restructured. For example, a more logical sequence for the discussion of the various items was taken into account in the annual accounts and more attention is paid to impairments. Finally, chapter 15 includes the new regulations regarding the duty of disclosure.
Basics of Financial Management is written for first year students in all economic studies in higher education.
